Request for Information (RFI)
Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, seeks information from parties capable of providing Employment Screening and Background Check Software/Services.
The DOE-SRS complex is located approximately 15 miles south of Aiken, South Carolina and is 310 contiguous square miles. The approximate number of employees at SRS is ~12,000. Approximately 6,500 of those employees belong to SRNS.
Scope Summary:
SRNS hires between 500 and 1,500 employees annually, which includes responsibility for verifying several aspects of a candidate’s pre-employment history to validate suitability for hire. This includes but may not be limited to criminal history, employment history, identity verification, credit history, and reference checks. SRNS requires validation of all information; in cases of derogatory or discrepant information, SRNS would like to understand vendor processes for resolving unverified information or other issues related to incomplete employment screening. Employees hired include interns, apprentices, non-exempt, exempt, and management professionals.
A supplier's response to the RFI does not guarantee they will be selected to participate in the RFP.
Suppliers responding to this RFI shall include evidence of the following:
- Supplier Capability statement, including average turnaround time, example of candidate experience, and example of final product
- Overview of experience integrating vendor software/services with client applicant tracking systems
- Overview of approach to records management and data security/privacy
- Past performance relative to subject scope
