The City of North Augusta wishes to construct a Plaza area and a day-use floating dock for boaters on the Savannah River.

The site is located at 1001 Center Street, North Augusta, south of SRP Park and the Sharon Jones

Amphitheater. The project area is immediately adjacent to the transition from concrete paving to asphalt

paving east of the Sharon Jones Amphitheater and between the North Augusta Greeneway and the Savannah River.

Construction shall be executed concurrently and consists of, but is not limited to:

Part A shall consist of the construction of the plaza portion of the project. Part A shall include but not be

limited to clearing, concrete installation, storm drainage, metal fence installation, bench construction, and

landscaping.

Part B shall consist of the procurement and installation of the piers, the floating dock, the gangway and all

associated connections, appurtenances, and fixtures.

Bids will be received for Single-Prime Contract on either part A or Part B or both. All proposals shall be

unit price.

A Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Friday April 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM EST at the following

Digital Electronic Copies of Complete plans, specifications, and contract documents (PDF format) will be

available to bidding contractors via email or secured link from the Project Manager.

“Hard Copies” of Construction Documents may be obtained from the offices of Cranston LLC

by those qualified as prime bidders.
