The proposed source for this action is Comporium, Inc., 330 East Black Street, Rock Hill, SC, 29730, a small business. FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

Awarding this contract to any other vendor will require the new vendor to install the necessary infrastructure to the facility

and will take approximately six (6) months if not longer to get completed. The VA has a need to maintain telephone numbers currently issued and not all vendors will be able to assume the current telephone numbers.
