Description

USDA Forest Service, Savannah River (USFS-SR) stationed in New Ellenton, South Carolina., has a need for site preparation and midstory control by means of mechanical ground broadcast herbicide applications with Government-Furnished herbicides and adjuvants. Work will be performed on the Savannah River Site (SRS). The Savannah River Site is a restricted access site, and all personnel must always wear a photo badge while on site. The requirement will be a single award Firm-Fixed Priced Contract. Actual spraying work by contractor shall be from June 20, 2023, to September 30, 2023 due to foliar type herbicides (Imazapyr and Triclopyr). Applications will be made using articulated rubber-tired skidder with spray tank. The contractor shall possess a valid South Carolina state commercial pesticide applicators license in Category 2. The contractor shall furnish all labor (Sufficient personnel), materials, supervision, transportation (Including enclosed lockable cargo trailer), equipment, all peripheral items such as nozzles, and supplies (Including safety and personal protective equipment),



It is our intent to award a single firm fixed price contract.



Period of Performance June 20, 2023 – September 30, 2023.

Site Visit is scheduled for May 10, 2023, 1:00pm at SRS. Special badging requirements will be listed with full solicitation.

100% Small Business set aside.



Vendor must be actively registered in SAM.gov on Solicitation Due date to be considered for award.
