NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the Department of Energy Savannah River Site – Aiken’s intent to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Sensors Unlimited, Inc pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Items purchased will be;

SWIR Pocket Scope (SPS) Part #: 9000-0225, ITAR XII* (c)(2)(i); 640x512

• Includes SPS system with 25 mm (PS1) lens, associated 1064 nm daytime filter, SPS soft pouch, 2 x CR-123A batteries, Quick Reference Guide and Operator’s Manual.

The requested products are proprietary to Sensors Unlimited, Inc. The NAICS is 334413, Semiconductor and Related Device Manufacturing, with Size Standard 1,250 employees.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability statement to Iman Dillard at iman.dillard@srs.gov.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within 10 calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by the DOE-SRS. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
