Sealed bids for grounds maintenance services at East Montague Avenue, O’hear Avenue, Empire Avenue, and Garco Park until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 01, 2024, at North Charleston Procurement Department, 2500 City Hall Lane, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and only the names of the contractors who submitted will be read aloud.

There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and walk through held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at parking lot located on the corner of O’hear Avenue and Empire Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.

All Contractors will meet on the corner of O’hear Avenue and Empire Avenue. (See Attachment A)

The City of North Charleston is seeking a qualified contractor to perform grounds maintenance, repair services and irrigation system repair services to all grounds that comprise of East Montague Avenue, O’hear Avenue, Empire Avenue, and Garco Park as outlined throughout this Contract. Work will include but is not limited to regular cutting of grassed areas, pruning, and trimming of shrubs and trees, fertilization, chemical treatments, mulching, debris removal, raking, cleaning and irrigation system repairs.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicalities or informalities, and to be the sole judge of the suitability of the firm to provide the required services.
