The City of Charleston (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Spring/Fishburne US 17 Drainage Improvements Project - Phase 5: Pump Station Building & Mechanical Systems. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders who have not been Prequalified by the Owner. The following Contractors have previously submitted a qualification package to demonstrate Contractor’s qualifications to perform the Work for this Project and have been determined by the Owner as being Prequalified to Bid the Project: Conti Civil, LLC, Crowder Construction Company, and Ruby-Collins, Inc. The Project includes the following Work: Construction of the pump station building and architectural elements atop the previously constructed pump station wet well To Include: Structural Steel Erection, Micropile Installation, Pile Cap and Grade Beam Installation, Precast/Prestressed Concrete Wall Panel Installation, Brick and Masonry Work, Ornamental Iron Work, and Bridge Crane Installation and startup; Installation and startup of supporting mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, control, and fuel storage and distribution systems; Installation and startup of owner furnished equipment: Diesel engine driven stormwater pumping packages to include large axial flow pumps and diesel engine driven power modules and supporting equipment, and Emergency Generator and supporting equipment; Sitework (grading, paving, pavers, etc.); Utilities (domestic water and sanitary sewer); Stormwater Piping and Structure Installation; Existing Stormwater Pipeline Cleaning and Inspection; Fire Protection System; and Landscaping (to include irrigation).
