The Central Midlands Council of Governments seeks proposals from firms qualified to provide Older American Act meal services in Fairfield, Lexington, Newberry, and Richland Counties, all in South Carolina. The primary purchase of this program is to fulfill the requirements of the Older Americans Act, as amended in 2020, by providing nutritionally balanced meals to strategically located centers that provide meals and socialization to eligible individuals.
Proposals MUST be received by the Central Midlands Council of Governments by the deadline date and time. Any proposal received after the deadline will be deemed late and will not be considered. Respondents shall bear all risks associated with delays in the U.S. mail or delivery service. Proposals will be opened at 2:15 p.m. on March 4th in the presence of at least two witnesses. Only the respondent's names will be disclosed at that time.
